I have tried Flock, also find it a bit klunky, but on the right track. What would be great, I think, is if Google Reader would do some further integration of my services. For instance, the other day I subscribed to Environment Canada's Weather and unsubscribed right away because it inundated me with posts. Would be nice if I could subscribe to their widget instead, but was available through my home page (currently Google Reader). I was just thinking the same thing today! I have tried Flock, also find it a bit klunky, but on the right track.
