Do you think someday there will be an Oscar for “best DVD extras” or a Grammy for “best original song for a video game?”
Like radio, television, movies, 45s, LPs and CDs, will new media formats create new creative formats?

Another great and thoughtful show, Jay.
This made me think of the “Aerial” double album by Kate Bush that was released a few years ago. Despite it being 80 minutes in length, Kate Bush decided to split the album across 2 CDs.
Her reasoning was to mimic the LP format which required the listener to flip the record over in order to continue listening. She explained that she liked that break in between.
Yeah Daniele that’s funny, when Uncle Seth was working on our first CD, I actually pushed at one point for a song order that would accommodate it being split up over two sides of an LP or tape even though it wasn’t ever going to be produced in those formats. I got talked out of that idea pretty quickly.
